Our Empowering Device, an hydrodynamic cavitator, provides a simple, fast and environmentally friendly system.
Our production of graphene and graphene oxide starts from graphitic materials, which can be exfoliated using simply water as a solvent, completely avoiding the solvents and reagents generally used such as NMP, sulfuric acid, surfactants and others which, in addition to being toxic, require washing of the finished product with the consequent use of other solvents and water.
In the production of graphene oxide generally sulfuric acid and permanganate or other is used, in our case we will use an advanced oxidation system combining cavitation, UV/O3, these will not leave residues allowing the recycling of the solvent, as well as avoiding the use of large quantities of water and solvents for washing the product.
Our vertical dryer, designed to dehydrate sludge, uses a very normal heat pump and is capable of drying large quantities of materials at low temperatures.
Another advantage of our process lies in the fact that we can exfoliate the graphite in few minutes, with a significant energy saving compared to other processes that require 1 to 24 hours in the liquid phase or less.
Our technology will produce green graphene and graphene oxide, with considerable energy savings, the total absence of any waste production, low production costs thus encouraging the growth of the market and consequently the use of graphene and derivatives.
All the above-mentioned characteristics can be easily modified to follow market needs with larger or smaller sheets, single layer or with layers up to 5, with functionalized sheets. As well as the possibility of producing other pure inorganic nanomaterials or linked to graphene or graphene oxide.
All this thanks to the great versatility of the process.
The entire process is managed via a proprietary PLC, entirely developed internally, which allows you to control the process both locally and remotely with advanced AI functions to constantly monitor the quality of production, the devices present in the line and any deviation from the budgeted production.
Thanks to our PLC the system will be controlled via a touch screen or via APP (web, IOS and Android).
The system will also be constantly monitored remotely from our control center.
Our process is extremely versatile as it is modular, has very interesting yields, high quality production and low operating costs as well as per unit obtained; the solvents used are solely water or alternatively a 1:1 mixture of water and isopropyl alcohol (IPA) which, being a volatile alcohol, can be recycled both in the solvent and in the graphene drying phase: the solvents must be considered as fully recycled in the production system with the exception of normal evaporation loss.
